Hope everyone had a nice restful weekend. This WIP will most likely be edited throughout the week when things come up so if you actually look at this to see what's going on, check back periodically to see if there are any additions or changes.
Monday 6/2 There is the monthly officers meeting at Hap's tonight at 6:30 for any officers out there. If you have any concerns or the like, please tell one of the officers and it will be discussed at the meeting.
Tuesday 6/3 WOMEN practice at VOA Park 6:30 to 8:30. Men, the women are heading off to Nationals this weekend and could use some people to help out and give some opposition. If you are able, PLEASE try and show up and support and help our women as they prepare to bring home the trophy.
Wednesday 6/4 As with every Wednesday there is a party in the park at 5:30 I believe.
Thursday 6/5 WOMEN practice at VOA Park 6:30 to 8:30. Once again men, this the last practice for the women before Saturday's game so try and get out and help out a little. They deserve all support we can give
Friday 6/6 The women and some men will be heading up to Minneapolis for the Women's National Tournament. I am sure there will be alot more out there this week about this.
Saturday 6/7 WOMEN'S NATIONALS- 11:00 am Monmouth vs. Detroit ; 1:00 pm Cincy-Dayton vs. Saranac Lakes
Sunday 6/8 WOMEN'S NATIONALS- 11am Consolation Game ; 1:30pm CHAMPIONSHIP GAME
Once again, please get out and help the women out this week if it is at all possible. And if you can't, PLEASE!!!! make sure you get to the gym and lift and go run on your own. Now is the time to start preparing for the fall season. I really like our chances this fall but we need to make sure we get in better shape, get a little stronger and a little faster. If anyone needs someone to workout with and you have a Y membership or might be interested in one, please let me know. I will begin lifting today at 3:30 weekdays at the Blue Ash Y but will make other arrangements if anyone is interested. We have all had a week to rest up a little. Get out and get prepared.
I have also heard some rumblings about having some 7s practices next week to get ready for the Dayton tournament on the 14th. If you are interested in playing 7s, make sure to contact Matt Mains and let him know ASAP! It's a great way to improve your ball handling, stamina, and open field play and to get ready for fall. If you don't want to play, still try and get out and help those who are get ready.
Let's have a strong off-season. I am really looking forward to this fall. It's only been a week but I miss playing already. Stay in touch. Run on your own.
