Crackbone

Hello,
I've searched for a local rugby-team in which to play for quite some time, and, now, I've chanced upon this forum. I'd very much like to play in the next season, though I don't know how to go about enrolling with the team. I'm a twenty-two-year-old male from northern Kentucky; I live perhaps ten minutes by automobile from Cincinnati. Any information given would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Michael Schoborg :p

Michael,
Glad to have you aboard. We're on winter break right now, so we're not practicing heavily. As of right now we're practicing at Holmes Junior High in Covington from 7:30-9:00pm on Wednesdays. (Mostly floor hockey, basketball or something like that to get a good run in.) We have bar practice at Hap's Irish Pub in Hyde Park on Thursday nights. (Social gathering, keeping up the alcohol tolerance.) On Saturdays we play touch rugby at Ault Park at 12:00 on the soccer field (it's actually a mud pit now). Feel free to start coming out to any of these practices you can make. They're all fun, and you'll get to start meeting the guys.
Have you ever played before? If so what do you play?

Crackbone? Must be a psychotic flanker. We need more of those!!
As Curt said, come out to any event you can. We will start some type of organized practice in the next few weeks. If you need directions to anything, email me at pgr@kokosing-inc.com.
As for enrolling, dues are approximately $90 a season for veterens and $60 for new players and college students. Write us a check and, well, you're in.
Glad to have you on!
