Is anyone having a New Year's Eve gathering?

All of my other friends are out of town, coupled or boring (or both), so I'd rather ring in the new year with some fun (you guys and gals).

I will post it here as well as elsewhere.
The Lab, downtown, 9ish.
Its the coolest.

Well I have heard of two things so far
1. The Lab which is "the coolest"
2. A group of people are going to this little pub called 'Haps' and meeting there.

So whats up? The wife managed to get the night off and I don't want to spend it at home. Whats the deal with the Lab? Cost? Ets.

What about Haps'? Any big cover there?

They both have a heavy cover of 2 beers for your local hooker...covers are same at Lab and Haps.

No, Really does anyone know the coversituation? There's nothing on the voice mail about anything tonight.

I , at the tender age of 39 and 3/4's will be going to Haps at 8.30 ish , intend to locate a bar stool , sit on it and quaff liberally. This will only be interupted by the need to
a - replenish said glass
b - transfer content of said glass into the urinal via my bladder

("b" may be jettisoned if there is too much time wasted)

Hope many will join me and my aged frame.

all the best for 2002

God Bless the Queen
(and all the sail in her)

I will be joining Simon in spirit(s) in the privacy of my own temporary home. I will be hindered only slightly by my seriously obstructed boozehole. Happy New Year every body and Simon, tell the cabbie or appointed chauffer to drive safely.
