In the spirit of rugby rivalries everwhere in the world, we have jointly acquired a Cup with the White River Rugby Club in South Indy.
At least once a year, we will play for the honour of taking and/or retaining the aforementioned Cup.
There's only one problem: We need a name.
England and Australia play for the Bledisloe Cup, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand play for the Tri-Nations Cup. Every four years, the whole world plays for the World Cup.
What will the Kelts and White River play for?
THE ___________________ CUP
btw - we play White River (AWAY) at 2:00 pm Indy time on May 18, 2002

We could call it the I-74 Cup. We could even mount some little plastic hooters on it and call it the D-Cup! I also like the idea of calling it the Buster Hymen Cup.
FA CUP
(think phonetically) not european

Why not contact them and the winning side at the first meeting names the cup officially - so it is clear how important it is to win !!!

I think Wax's idea rules. Unless we want the "Fu" Cup. Fu, Fa, it's all the same to me and we can get away with using that word on here finally!!!

that the winners name the cup - we should call it -
"Kelts won it first - so there - Cup"

No.
Can someone start a poll with the previously mentioned names? We only have until Saturday to decide.

There were no real names for the cup ...I had thought that we decieded to let the winning team decide the cups fate ......I was gonna start a poll but there were no serious names in this thread ....

Ahhh,
One thing, since White River bought it (or stole it from a yard sale) do you think they already named it?
I think the winning team naming it is a cool way to do it.
