With everything that has happened recently, it's now more important than ever that we get behind and participate in the upcoming Breast Cancer Walk. I know we talked about it a month or so ago, and haven't really mentioned it since, so here are the details.
The walk is this Sunday, October 26. It begins with Event Registration from 8:00 to 9:00. The walk begins at 9:00 and lasts until approximately noon, although the faster you walk, the faster you finish. It begins at Sawyer Point, crosses the bridge into Kentucky, down through Covington, back across the bridge, around in Cincinnati a little, and ends at Sawyer Point. We will meet at Hap's back parking lot at 8:00 a.m. to consolidate rides, and will plan to be at Sawyer Point at 8:30.
I know this is late notice, but try to get monetary donations. Tell them you are walking 5 miles, and ask that they either sponsor you by the mile, or for a lump sum.
If you plan to attend, please either e-mail me or post on the website. Also let us know if you will meet us at Hap's, so that we know to wait for you. If you are not going, please donate to someone who is.
