It's been awhile. I'm looking at relocating and looking for a job in the Sports Admin field. Wondering if you could help me out. Your club seems to be doing alright.

To Anybody With Connections,
I have been a parts & components buyer at Toyota's N. American manufacturing HQ since 2000. I have a double major in economics (BA) & religion (BA).
I am testing the water to see what opportunities are out there. I don't necessarily want another position in purchasing. In fact, I am pretty open to a wide range of jobs. My intent is just to get a new stimulus.
I have attached a generic resume.
Thanks for any help you can offer. Thanks to Shannon for posting this thread.

We have openings at our facility. One position would directly work for me, that wouldn't be a good idea!

Jamie,
My wife confirmed that his application go through the early (and hardest) part of the app process but HR told her they're not recruiting engineers yet. His app is in the P & G system if you know of any openings.
I am already workign with a contact at GE to see what will shake loose in a couple of months there.

Hey all. There are few openings at my company in Accounting and Billing. We need an experienced cash accountant, or somebody who has extensive banking knowledge. We also need somebody who has medical billing knowlege with Medicare, Medicaid and insurance company billing experience. Also, if our Payroll manager takes the Cash accountant position we could use a payroll supervisor who has experience in Wage and Hour laws, ADP software, and some tax knowledge.

Listen up yall,
As you may know, Cincy Bell is on the verge of strike. I have a bad feeling if we go out it's going to be for a while. If anyone does any type of work like landscaping, remodeling, plumbing, or anything to that effect that I could work temporarily I would appreciate any help. I know Gregg said he does remodeling, if you need any work I have experience painting and doing drywall, if you all are still hiring.
Our contract is up on July 9, the only times I wouldn't be available to work would be Thursdays from 6am-12pm due to strike duty. Gotta walk that pickett. I would appreciate any help that you can give. Hell, I'll mow everyone's grass if you'll pay me!

This may be helpful for but a small few...However still worth a post. I am a headhunter- the sort that takes candidates from one company and puts them in another. Now, I will stress that my firm only works in the Fluid Power industry- Hydrualics, Pneumatics, & Power Transmission, so that does limit my ability to assist someone in a job search. What I can provide you is interviewing information, resume tips, etc. And if there is a degreed engineer among the lot of ya---Gimme a call!
www.mrifluidpower.com to learn more~
And Hogleg- you can mow my lawn any time! (sorry - could not resist that one...too easy!) I am sure Gregg will give you a ring about temp work.
james

Can I mow your lawn too?
Hogleg
07-02-2002, 06:08 PM
Sorry James that job was already offered to me! Back off!
Ummmm, you don't want me working with pneumatics and hydraulics, that could prove to be very disastrous. But if you talk to Gregg and I assume you will, let him know my predicament.
Oh by the way I also do electrical work!!

Yo! Listen up all ya's on the dole...potential and otherwise.
Need some quick cash over the next month?
I just got a call from a tech recruiter (Aerotek/Onsite Environemental) for a temp position at Jergens. It can start as early as wednesday (7/10) if you're that interested. Now, when I mean tech I use the term lightly. Jergens needs somebody to do drum sampling and stuff for them and they WILL train you. The position pays $11hr with a potential for a bit of overtime each week. Remember, you can still do the job-hunting thang while you get some immediate money...AND...Aerotek/Onsite Environmental will continue to search for another position for you during that month so you might luck out and get something permanent somewhere else.
You gotta move quick on this 'cuz they want someone ASAP...and by this I mean TOMMORROW or the next day..prefereable the former.
ANYBODY can apply for this regardless of their tech background as it is a trainable position.
Contact MIKE MUNAFO. Email:amunafo@aerotek.com Phone#: 229-2069
I told Mike either I or whoever was interested would call him TOMMORROW. You even call/email him tonight and leave a message on his machine so he can contact you himself tommorrow.
This is a good company to have job hunting for you nevermind the fact that Mike would love to hear from some rugby players as his boss plays (Wolfhound).
Cheers!

I am currently testing the waters as well. Basicly looking for something with normal hours and good money. I have four years operation management experience in a warehouse/work shop setting plus a variety of industrial work experience. In my manager role I was also in charge of all puchasing, inventory control, training, production, quality control, etc. In other words every single thing that went on. Along with work experience I have a BA in political science and a minor in philosophy from John Carroll University. I'm willing to explore a variety of options so don't hold back people.

My co-op ends on November 11th. While they have said I can stay here until I find another job, I don't want to do that longer than is absolutly necessary. I have posted my resume here before but it sucked so I am including my new one. If anyone has anything in the IT/Help Desk/network side, please keep me in mind. THANKS!

As of a few hours ago, I'm no longer employed in the "losing $4 million dollars a day" airline industry. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.
Anyone know of any HR or legal jobs?
In the meantime, anyone need a laborer for construction or landscaping?
james
07-01-2003, 08:26 AM
Yes folks the country is in trouble. When a lawyer/HR Manager is no longer gainfully employed we know it's time to stock up on can goods, batteries and bottled water.
P.S. Bob there's always Luxxotica.
I don't know if anyone is currently looking for any work in the IT area but the project that I am working on is hiring some new people and I thought I'd put it out. Looking for Project Coordinators to support a temporary (2-4 month) onsite at GE Aircraft Engines. Below is a job description. If you have additional questions about what's involved, you can contact me at tony@kelts.com or just PM me. Positions start immediately.
Software Data Gatherer
Temporary opportunity to support a software data gathering project to organize, coordinate, research and verify software licenses to ensure compliance.
Skill Set:
Extreme knowledge of software (executable and dyna link library file information and product numbers)
Software knowledge - sufficient to id products to abbreviated names/manufacturers
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
SQL experience preferable (from beginner to advanced levels)- ability to modify multiple values in DB from standard list
Writing/Communication - ability to document process and Q&A for all global sites to duplicate these processes.
Detail oriented
Self directed, confident individual, ability to make decisions
Team Player
This is really pretty easy work right now. And it pays alright. Unfortunatly it is temporary but Sarcom seems to be pretty quick to get positions for people. Plus, you'll get to work with me...every day...for 8 hours. Let me know if you are interested. Even if you don't think you are qualified but still need work, let me know or send me a resume ASAP. This won't last long.

I got this email this morning - someone is looking for a property administrator. I used to do this and it is a great job with a lot of advancement opportunity and a chance to work with some great people!! If you are interested, please contact nancy.kammer@nisbetbrower.com.
Nancy Kammer, property manager for Nisbet Properties, is looking for a
take-charge person to run their property office (work with tenants,
accounting/Skyline software program, etc.). Nancy is managing the former
"West Shell Office Park" on Hosbrook Road in Kenwood, as well as, other
properties West Shell previously had.
Nancy is also looking for a Maintenance Engineer person who will also work
with vendors and contracts. I gave her the information that I'd previously
sent out to all of you regarding gentlemen who are in the market for a
position like that.
If you know of someone who is seeking either of these positions, they can
contact Nancy at the below telephone number and email address. Good luck

If you are in the IT industry, and can reduce yourself to being chained to your cubicle for eight hours a day by an Aspect phone, I can get you an interview at Siemens - we have several new contracts coming into the building in the next couple months, and we will need more bodies. If you have ANY certifications or an IT degree, you should be a shoe-in for the desk positions. Pay is decent, better than most help desks, and the benefits are very rugger friendly - including STD and LTD options (woohoo gonorrhea for all!).
