Practice on 04/09/02 was originally scheduled to be @ the K of C.
We have decided to have practice @ the silverton field so that we can plant some grass and roll the field. Since we dont have a game that week it is a great way for everyone to get involved and help repair our field. I am not sure what is planned for practice but have asked coach Joe if we could move it there. If we get the numbers out there like we do for a regular practice then it should only take about 30 minutes to roll and plant some grass. Please make sure that you pass this on and encourage everyone to make practice to repair the field .....
Thanks

If we practice after repairing the field, that would kinda defeat the purpose won't it. I mean being the field chair you are probably a higher authority on turf maintenance. But, I'm just curious.

There is plenty of room to practice elsewhere on that open space ........like on the other side of the fence ....we can run around the park etc...well make due with what we have ..If we dont want to practice then well go to the bar ..

Don't forget the time change. We lose an hour, so it will get dark earlier. I don't think Silverton has lights.

Curt I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that's a joke. But just in case there's any confusion, we START daylight savings time on Sunday. Spring forward and all that. you will, however, lose an hour of sleep saturday night. I'm sure that's what you were thinking about.;)
According to the US Navy website, sunset on April 9 in Cincinnati will take place at 8:09pm.... so, if we start at our usual practice time of 6:30pm, we should be just fine on the amount of daylight!!
Not that any of you hooligans really care, but the women will be meeting at Silverton to practice at 6:30pm on Tuesday... while we would love to help out with repairing the field, we aren't using it at all this season, and we desperately need to actually practice in preparation for the Midwest tournament on 4/20.
Just FYI....

not that i care or anything but remember that we are seeding the field and will not be practicing on it(for the most part) ie scrumming, rucking, basically anything that doenst constitute walking .......we will try and use as much extra sapce there as we can ...

Ok, so this might be a stupid question, but then again I never claimed to be a smart man. What time are we going to get this thing started?? 6:30 or 7:00???

Kenny, you just show up & look pretty in those white shorts & we'll practice off to the side so we can check you out while you reseed the pitch. That's all you need to worry about...
