Hey guys i just have a few questions, i am moving out at the begining of november, i know that your season will almost be over but i would like to get plugged into the social network as soon as possible so at least i have people to drink with. i doubt any of you remember me but i was at maggot fest this year and met a bunch of you. I was the guy trading jerseys from the Harlotfest we have here in california, i ended up with one of your savahnna tour jerseys. what is there to do in cincy this time of year and what could i expect as a rugger playing on your team? simple enough, good luck on the rest of your season. hope to meet you guys soon.

oh how far away are you from deerpark as far as practice goes?

You'll have plenty of drinking partners here. As far as the team goes, we don't like to lose, we focus on playing good, FUN, Rugby, and teaching new people the game we love. We also put a focus on the social aspect and the promotion of Rugby in the community. Our team is like one Giant Family. We have a lot of social functions over the off seasons. (ie. Toga Paties, Happy Hours, etc.) Out of all the teams I've ever played for or against, this team, in my opinion, the best team around.

Nick,

Good to hear you are moving to the 'nati...
You will find this club to be competitive, yet FUN. As Curt said, we hate to lose, but love to party. What am I thinking, you've been to Maggotfest... Therefore, you know we enjoy the social aspects of rugby. We are a diverse club, made up of foreigners, locals, new-locals, etc. We look forward to you coming out.

Toby
PS. What position do you play?

sorry about not giving the personal info i was in arush. i am a tight head prop. i am 6'2" 250-260 depending on what kind of beer i've been drinking. more than anything i am very competative having fun is great but i feel that winning is better. sounds like your team is active in the community just like ours is, that was one of my favorite parts of being on the team.

thanks for the timely reply.

Wax is an Urban Legend. To understand one must experience Wax. Explanations lose some of the mystique.

The "Wax", as called by the Kelts, is a mythical being created for the soul purpose of making Rugby players around the world say "What the ****!?" This mythical creature has a large physical prowess (Not Penis) and plays solidly in the front row. The "Wax" is most known for its ability to make you think it's running left when it's actually running right. It also has blindingly fast bursts of speed, but they cannot be sustained but for only a few meters. The "Wax" has hands like stick'um that are soft yet caloused. Many wonder if its from too much masturbating, but thats another story. Keep your eye out for the "Wax", you'll know it when you see it.
