The celebrated Penguins Touring side is in Toronto this week – having played an exhibition match against the Toronto Renegades of the RCSL Tuesday night will now hold a clinic for all interested men's and women's players in the Toronto area on Thursday night.


The Penguins are wrapping a two game North American tour that saw them beat New York Old Blue of the USA Superleague -- as well as downing the Toronto Renegades in a close 25-7 contest at the Oakville Crusader's ground Tuesday night.

Made up of top level players from the UK, Australia and New Zealand – the Penguins have evolved into an accomplished invitational 7s and 15s team – with the team ethos being the promotion of the game around the world.

To that end the Penguins squad is holding an open training session -- being run by the Toronto Nomads and the Toronto Scottish – taking place at Sunnybrook Park rugby pitches Thursday night. It will run from 6-8 pm with a reception to follow at Scallywags restaurant (Yonge and St. Clair)

So bring your gear down to Sunnybrook to learn from some of the game’s most high level players.
