Can someone please let those of us that have been under a rock know a couple of things?
1) Directions to Ft. Wayne, both pitch and Don Hall's?
2)Possible time of first Match?
3)What is the practice schedule for this week (July 8 thru July 12)?
4)Are we going to have those cool jerseys?

1) I don't have the directions to Fort Wayne.
Heres to Don Halls: Take I-69 to Exit 112A (Coldwater Road Exit)
* Turn right (west) at the first light (Washington Center Road).
* Take Washington Center Road for approximately 1/2 mile. Don Hall’s
Guesthouse will be on your left, across from the Calvary Temple Worship
Center.

From Dona Halls to the Pitch at Metea Park: Take I-69 to Exit 116.
* Turn east onto Dupont Road (State Road 1). Dupont Road becomes Leo
Road at the traffic light at Leo Crossing Shopping Center.
* Proceed on Leo Road to Union Chapel Road.
* Turn left on Union Chapel Road and make an immediate right into Metea
Park.

From Dona Halls to O' Sullivans: Turn left out of the hotel parking lot.
* At your first traffic light, turn left (south) on Lima Road (US 27). Lima
Road will become Northrop and then become Clinton (all of which are still
US 27). * Turn right (west) on Main Street. Continue on Main Street to
Runnion Avenue. * O’Sullivan’s is on the northeast corner of Main and
Runnion.

2) We don't know yet, and its not on their website. I'm guessing about between 8am & 10am earliest.

3) Tuesday & Thursday 6:30pm at Ault Park.

4) If you paid Andy for one of those cool jerseys, he'll be getting them on Friday from the screen printers. Therefore, you'll probably get it in Fort Wayne unless they get them done sooner.

Metea Park
· Take 75 North to 30 West. Take 30 West to 469 North/West to 69 North.
· Take I-69 to Exit 116.
· Turn right onto Dupont Road (State Road 1). Dupont Road becomes Leo Road at the traffic light at Leo Crossing Shopping Center.
· Proceed on Leo Road to Union Chapel Road.
· Turn left on Union Chapel Road and make an immediate right into Metea Park.

As many of you know, there are numerous variations on how to get from75 over to 469... 30 is just one of them. If you're feeling adventurous, it's well worth it to get out a map and take some of the 2 lane roads (scenery, etc)... I can't remember how we went last year, but it was even a bit faster.

For those who care and also for those who don't.
Canuck, Bob St. Jacques and I will be coming to Ft. Wayne for the first match. We will then be heading to Chicago for the USA v. Canada test match. I speak mostly for myself and probably for the other two also, that we request to play in that first match when selections are made. Should this pose issues I will sit out to let people who have come to practice start (now I'm only speaking for myself), but I would really like a half.

The hotel spot we used last year for a park n ride is roped off and closed now, in case anyone was planning on using that this year.

The Metro has a park and ride lot at the Radison on Chester Rd.

Let's talk meeting and leaving times a bit so we can get the info out to everyone tonight at practice.

My thoughts are:

1st boat(s) leave at 5:30PM Friday night. (Dave Simmons is working on getting me a minivan, but nothing is confirmed yet - I'll be in the 5:30 pool). Second time will be 7 PM (for the dedicated employees). After that, you're on your own if you leave Friday night. Make arrangements with others to meet and carpool and to get into your room.

Lisa - Need to know a good meeting time and place for those that want to meet and drive up Saturday morning.

As for the location, we could meet either at the Radisson on Chester or the Marriot on Union Center. Both are convienient to 75.

Any news on the minivan? Is that a first-come-first-serve deal - or have spaces aboard this proposed Caravan been reserved ?

OK, for those going up Saturday morning, there will be some people meeting at the Marriott off Union Center Blvd. (first exit north of 275 off 75). There is a nice corner of the parking lot at Union Center and Mulhauser to leave cars. Be there, ready to go, at 6:30am!!

For those who did not get a jersey and are playing this weekend I will be happy to LEND my jersey to someone after I play the first game (if I get to). My only request is that I get it back and hopefully washed and not too ripped and bloody. I will be getting it back from the FIRST person who I LEND it to.
FYI I will not be LENDING it to Lt. Dan, because he lives in Columbus, nor to Simmons, because I don't think Lt. Dan has gotten his shorts back from way back when they were borrowed.
