I have been looking for a new job since November of last year. I have just missed on a few things, but no takers. In the mean time, things have only grown worse at my current job. I do not know how much longer I have there. Careerbuilder, monster, and a host of other sites have produced the sound of crickets of late. If anyone hears of anything along the lines of logistics, inventory, planning, and or purchasing please let me know. I would really appreciate it.
Do not put a bunch of dumb shit on here because this is not a joke. If I don't find something soon it will affect my ability to play this fall. I also don't need it after a long morning of being blamed for everything wrong at my company.
Thanks

This is the closest thing I could find at GE that matches what you mentioned your skills were. http://jobs.gecareers.com/search?q=1415344
HR is not really my specialty, but maybe this makes sense.

I don't really have any connections outside of sports medicine at Children's Hospital but I do know that we are always hiring. Here is the link to our job listings: http://www.cincinnatichildrens.org/careers/apply/default.htm
Maybe a dumb question, but are you Linked In? There's job postings there. I filled a position through there.
Drew,
You realize you can internally refer a candidate (Scott) and reach out to the hiring manager at GE, right? I'd recommend that if Scott decides he's a fit for the role for you to do that via the COS system. It doesn't take a ton of effort, but it does help. As does an email to the hiring manager indicating why you are referring said individual.
Scott, if you decide to apply, let Drew know so he can internally refer you. Drew, if you have issues, let myself or Brez know and either of us can help you out.

I have referred people before - I did a quick COS search to find that job number. I wanted to put it to Scott to see if he thought he would want to apply for it. I will obviously do all I can if he thinks it makes sense to apply.

Scott,
Search careerbuilder.com for jobs with FirstGroup. We are hiring a commodity specialist and a commodity program manager in Cincinnati.
I can't claim to have much pull here, but if you're interested I can get your resume into the right hands.
Mike
